Prayers and praise

  • We have a new prayer cycle from the United Church of Canada for our region (the Prairie to Pine Regional Conference). For this week, your prayers are asked for Knox United Church in Fort Frances, Ontario.
  • Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. Augustine United Church (444 River Avenue) hosts Flipside Opera in a program of opera, operetta, and popular songs. Fruit punch, lemonade, and dainties will be served. A free will offering will be taken. Hope to see you there!
  • We hold the family of Doris Latter, (Carol Latter’s mother) in our thoughts and prayers at her recent passing. An August service is being planned at Fort Garry United Church.
  • Congratulations to José Rodriguez and Benjamin Adams who were married here yesterday. We wish them God’s blessing on their marriage.
  • Rev. Sherri will be on holiday until August 6 ,2019. Rev. Don McIntyre will be available for pastoral emergencies. Please call the office at 204-784-1330.
  • Murray is back! Dan has gone to Edmonton to walk his daughter down the aisle. While he is away, Murray will be looking after the building Monday to Friday from 9 am to noon, Jasson noon – 3 pm and a new face, Frank, will be here from 3 – 6 pm. Ricky and Jasson will continue their regular evening and weekend schedule. Thank you so much, Guys! Enjoy your vacation Dan! Westminster will be in good hands!
